TEANA’s Annual Scholarship

This scholarship is open to all TEANA members, their family members, or employees. TEANA is pleased to award students enrolled in an accredited institution of higher learning in ANY degree program.

Congratulations to the following 2022 Scholarship Winners!
  • 1st Place: Brittany Thelen - Brittany is attending Michigan State University as a first-year student in the College of Osteopathic Medicine and studying to become a Physician Assistant.
  • 2nd Place: Connor McGowan - Connor is a Sophomore currently attending the University of Michigan where he is studying Literature, Science, and the Arts.  He is working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
  • 3rd Place: Julia Marshall - Julia Marshall is a Senior at the University of Michigan in the College of Engineering.  She is Majoring in Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences where she will earn her BSE.
  • 3rd Place: Nicholas Farrell - Nicholas is a Freshman at the University of Michigan studying Literature, Science, and the Arts.  He is working towards his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
Congratulations to the following 2021 Scholarship Winners!
  • 1st Place: Connor McGowan - Connor is attending University of Michigan in the Fall of 2021 to study and earn a degree in Medical Chemistry.
  • 1st Place: Taylor McGinnis - Taylor is attending St. Clair College-University of Windsor in the Fall of 2021 where she plans to study to become a Nurse.
  • 2nd Place: Ashley Rose - Ashley is attending University of Detroit Mercy in the Fall of 2021 where she will be studying at their College of Health professions to become a Physician Assistant.
  • 2nd Place: Ella Duran - Ella will be attending Central Michigan University in the Fall of 2021 where she is majoring in Exercise Science and pursuing her Bachelor of Science.
  • 3rd Place: Riley Fritsche - Riley will be attending Madonna University in the Fall of 2021 where she will be pursuing her Nursing degree.
  • 3rd Place: Vishal Chava - Vishal will be attending Michigan State University in the Fall of 2021 where he will be studying and pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science Engineering.

Congratulations for our 2019 scholarship winners!
  • 1st Place: Emma Norman- Emma is attending Western Michigan University in the Fall of 2019 to study and earn a degree in Education.
  • 2nd Place: Riley Fritsche- Riley will begin her first semester at Madonna University Fall 2019 where she plans to earn her degree to become a nurse.
  • 3rd Place: Caden Sekelsky- Caden plans to pursue a career in Business Administration when he attends University of North Carolina- Wilmington Fall 2019.
2018 Winners
  • 1st Place: Tori Zaborowski- Tori is currently studying at Eastern Michigan University and plans to earn her degree in Elementary Education.
  • 2nd Place: Mitchell Miller- Mitchell is attending Adrian College where he is studying Business to earn his Master's degree.
  • 3rd Place: Jessica Mead- Jessica is working on obtaining her BS in Exercise Science from College of Coastal Georgia. 
2017 Winners
  • Adison Schumacher - Adison is earning her degree at Ohio Christian University where she plans to earn her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Adision will also continue working on her cosmetology career while attending school. 
  •  Brittany Thelen- Brittany is earning her degree at Central Michigan. She is studying Biomedical Sciences to become a Physician Assistant as well as minoring in Business Administration.
